Gs300 Mk3 06 Plate Trans Issue Shift Solenoid

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I have added to my lexus collection an absolutely lovely 06 plate Gs300 SE to go alongside my ls430 and is300

Slight problem is that I keep getting an ob731 (shift solenoid) fault that stops the car shifting up gear

If I reset the ecu by disconnecting the neg terminal on the Battery the trans will shift fine but then will throw the fault after a while and I am doing 50 mph with 4k revs

My local garage have changed the fluid in the trans but 2 questions, where can I buy new shift solenoids and does anyone have a diagram of the solenoid numbers ie what is solenoid 3 for example

If anyone can help that would be great

Col
