Back to black or equivalent on plastics and just a damp cloth on the rest. That's all I use. Metal parts can be cleaned with autosol.

Sorry, but I'd avoid this advice.

Wipe everything down with All Purpose Cleaner (APC) like this:

Then, when you've rinsed/wiped up the APC (be careful of the electrics/electronics, spray liberally with Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care, ACF-50 or Aerospace 303.

I would also spray metal components, radiators, etc with Scottoiler FS365,Aerospace 303 or ACF-50.

Go for a drive to dry out/set the stuff you've sprayed on.

Et voila!
