Aren't they bright enough already? even when just switched to sidelights I think they are brighter then some cars DRL's on normal mode I think they are some of the brightest out there.

They are part of the headlight assembly, you would have to do some serious DIY to change them! Interestingly, I have never notice them dim with the headlights on. Many cars either cancel or dim them when you indicate too but the CT doesn't. I don't find that to be an issue but then I am driving! I say they appear to be some of the brightest out there - you can always tell a Premier model too!!

They definitely dimm when lights are turned on. Enough to turn on position lights, the difference is visible immediately. If in doubt do it at night parked close to the wall.
