I'm assuming you have the 'sports cloth' upholstery.

I had that in my 07 220d a while back. I used to use upholstery shampoo and quite warm water and wipe it straight away with some old discarded pale towels...they are a good indicator as to how much grime is being removed and they also remove some of the damp. I only ever did this in the summer months on a nice warm day as it speeds the drying. The shinier cloth centres are quite easy to clean. But be careful on the coarser cloth borders. Don't rub too hard or you will remove colour.

As with all these things test your process first on an area out of sight to check colour fastness.

Do check that you don't have the alcantara type seats. They are similar to suede in appearance.
