What Will I Get For Around £6K

would i be able to get a rx in good nic for this sort of money, or am i in cuckoo land?

i dont do many milesin a year 2 or 3k thats all

dont know much about these but the brand has a good name

Yes you should be able to get a nice RX300 SE or SE-L, 2004 to 2006. You may want to avoid the SE-L model as the air suspension can be expensive to repair.

When I first started looking for an RX, I actually bid on a 2007 RX400h with 155k miles on it. I lost and it went for £6, 400 - ex-company car, lot of service history, just very high mileage...

Depends how brave you are....I eventually bought mine with 100k miles (ex-company car, FSH) and 18 months later, I've added only 10k miles. Just went through the MOT with only an advisory that suspension bushes may need replacing next year. I paid £9k...

You can easily get a good RX300 SE for that money. I sold mine for £5750 and it was a 54 plate SE with 55k on the clock. This was 2 years ago. But then, I am a person who puts a car up for what its worth, not what I "think" i could get for it.
