Gold Member Discount Not Honoured

I had my LS430 serviced and all brake pads renewed today at Lexus Sidcup but they refused to honour the 10% discount stating that their rates are discounted anyway. Has anyone had similar experience there or at other Lexus service centres?

That's just not good. Shame on you Sidcup. That needs attending to in my opinion.

Hmmm does it state the discount rate on the invoice, all my Lexus Derby receipts show a 10% "Trade" discount.

Did you show them your membership card before the work was doe or upon payment?

Steve, they just said that their prices were already discounted. They weren't interested in seeing any proof of membership. The last time I had a service done they did eventually agree to give me the club discount but very begrudgingly.

Is there any result of this? I was considering joining but this sort of thing puts me off but doesn't surprise me.

What is Admin doing about this? Have Lexus Sidcup been contacted yet?

I have still heard nothing back from Admin on here regarding this. I am considering not renewing my Gold membership next year as I have gained very little by joining, and admin seems to be uncontactable. :megaangry:
