Looks really good that Levi, what springs have you got on? And what's the ride like after fitting? Yeah j do agree would look awesome with spacers but would need to get new hubs to be honest for that much of a gap

Thanks, the are H&R springs 35mm drop. The ride is stiffer on the speed bumps and occasionally scraps on the top of the bump. But on normal roads it's actually not to bad, still pretty smooth. My friends still thinks it's a smooth drive.

I've have had the springs for approx 3500 miles. No problems at all.

I have a tdi-tuning box which modifies the fuel intake and boost. TDi tuning claim it would be 220bhp and 480nm torque. When it was installed, I noticed a huge difference.

Ahh that's good then! May consider getting them.

Ahh right where are TDI tuning based? And is it a chip or a rolling road remap? Also how much was it? Ive seen one that is supplied by Toyota it's supposed to make an extra 35hp and 70nm and its £375

Hi, the ECU cannot be remapped. It's a Toyota engine and has sort of special encryption thing (I'm sure that someone here can offer more insight lol) I tried looking and researching for the best part of 6 months. Can't be done!

I'm not sure tbh. The box does the exact same thing. Only difference is, if you want your car back to standard, you only have to take the chip out of the car and that's it. With a remap, you must go to a specialist to get the standard map back

Ahh really? Yeah I'd heard this was gonna speak to TDI North near me, yeah that's understandable but easier to use it's just that a remap is custom to the car and the car will react and perform better to this than a standard tuning box

They actually changed the map on the chip for my car, I tried the original tdi map but the car cut out during rapid acceleration. So they customised it till it ran smoothly with the car. I had to test drive new maps about 5 times. Happy with the result. Plus on the box, you get Eco to performance settings, I have it in the middle which is half Eco half performance.

On the instructions that came with the chip it does show you how to alter the different settings on the chip,,mine was fine as it was but its easy to change it if needs be.

The car really does drive much better since i fitted the racechip, much better power and torque
