Battery Drain

Hi guys. Newbie here. HELP.

Got a problem with drain on the Battery. It killed the old one so I bought a replacement. Have recently bought a wiring harness for the Radio so I could put my old one in. No dramas there, after finally getting the right one, but the light behind the clock and outside temp now stays on permanently, even with the key out of the ignition. Figuring this must be the problem.

Anybody else had this problem or know of a fix??

cheers

It's definitely the adapter causing your problem, well known fault. If you check it both the ignition live and Battery + are linked together. You need to cut the yellow wire iirc and connect to car ign live.

I have exactly the same problem. Dont start the car for 3 days and the Battery is completely flat. Bought a new Battery and same happened. Disconnected the bypass lead and left car for 3 days. Battery was fine. Unfortunately none of my wires are listed. From memory there are 2 yellow wires and a black wire. Any ideas?
