Door Arm Repair

Hello.

I have a small tear (slightly smaller than a 2p coin) on the door armrest, not too dissimilar to the one in this youtube video, except mine is maybe twice the size.

Here is the Youtube video, and the repair is very impressive, but this guy is in the US.

1) Does anyone know if Lexus dealers in the UK offer such a service, and approx prcing?

2) Can anyone recommend any independent repair shops (or reliable individuals) in the UK (ideally in West Yorkshire) who is able to do such repairs for a reasonable price?

3) Or failing that, the best way to temporarily secure the tear to prevent it getting snagged and getting any bigger, until I can get it sorted properly? I don't want to do something and make it worse/harder to repair later, but equally I don't want to do nothing and it 'develop' on its own either!

Thank you.

I would be looking at a leather repair specialist in your area.

There was a feature in Car Mechanics a while back and I seem to remember he was based in the Blackpool area,I'll have a search for the article.

Cheers
