Hello from Finland!

I have owned my IS200 couple of months now, and guess what, feels gooooood! :D

I have a one guestion about lowering. Does anyone have any experience about K&W coilovers? I think I'll go for coils 'cos I have to think about snowy winters too. So anything bad or good of K&W? Or is there some better ones in same price?

nice car.

Could someone please tell me what the difference is between coilovers and the normal arrangement fitted on the IS200? I thought that coilovers meant spings fitting over dampers, but isn't that what we have already?

ta :offtopic: a little

so the only difference is that they are fully adjustable. So the standard ones are infact coilovers in the sense of the word, just not adjustable!

erm kind off.......

the standard ones are in fact coilovers, meaning the springs are located over the struts

aftermarket coilovers are the same , but usually uprated in some respect

there are different uprated ones that have adjustable height setting and ones that have adjustable damping settings, and some that have both adjustable height and damping

I'm in the same boat. I have an Altezza RS200 however, which will be having 8x19s fitted at the same time.

Don't want any gap between arch and tyre... well very little if you catch my drfit :P

I have installed KW Variant 2 coilovers on my IS200 one month ago.

I think it's good materials but the guy who install it, was it's first time with

a Lexus and he had some mistake with the installation.

On the rear,i receive elastomere bump with the coilovers, he put it on place

of the stock bump. But the car was indriveable, it jump everytime.

He swap it with the stock bump, now it's better but i ask myself if it's not

better to put both in the same time? why given elastomere bump if we don't use it??

Someone with similar problems?

Thanks.
