To Change Auto Fluid Or Not?

Hi guys i need some advice. I have a is200 se 99 with genuine 60k miles. My question is...based on the low mileage is it worth doing the auto fluid change? Ive heard so many conflicting comments, some people say to leave it if nothing is wrong, some say to change it. One thing to note is the fluid is a golden brownish colour.however there is nothing wrong with the gearchanges, all smooth.

Also do i need to change the filter or can it just be cleaned? Obviously i will be using the type 4 fluid and change would be done by a specialist. But am confused as to whether the fluid needs changing,

Thankyou
