Vibration During Cold Start

Hi guys

I had the gearbox mount replaced (solved most of the harsh shifting issues) and now my car is vibrating during cold starts only. It vibrates for a few seconds and then it stops for a few seconds, repeat.

I've seen a few posts of others having this problem on here and on usa sites, but no one ever posts what the solution was.

Do you guys think it could be engine mounts? car has done 180k.

If the transmission mount was shot I would certainly take a look at the engine mountings, I would imagine the transmission was jacked up during the mount replacement which may have stressed out the engine mounts, I've seen these break in 2 after the engine has been pulled.

You'll think this is really stupid, but: Check the state of your Battery. I had exactly this problem on my LS430, and it was due to the low voltage on the Battery when cold. Battery replacement solved the problem.
