Just yesterday the sun was beating down on the rear windscreen and since then every time I drive there is a squeaking noise coming from the rear. I keep thinking it's the rear shelf but my son says it's not. What else can it be and has anyone had this on their mk3 gs300?

That's right when temp drops it stops squeaking. do you reakon this a known fault then? I went on to the us website and they sprayed silicone spray where the glass is at the top and the squeaking never comes back. I'll try that later.

I had this on my 450H, I think it was caused by a couple of redundant alignment pins at the top of the rear windscreen. You can carefully fold down the headlining while someone is driving the car to locate the exact source of the squeak. I can't remember how Lexus fixed it, but I believe there was a technical service bulletin that showed you what to do.
