Before you buy an EV!!!
I have read this from several sources and I have just linked to one. It concerns an aspect that many would not think about, but perhaps they should. Battery. The Battery costs more than a brand new car!" width="200">
A few thoughts on the LBX
Took my 2014 GS in for some warranty work today and had an LBX as a loan car. Have been thinking of downsizing so was looking forward to seeing if it suited my needs. So, after spending a day with it here are some of my personal thoughts and not an in depth review. First impressions were quite positive. Initially it felt good quality with good materials on the bits that are often touched. Except for the steering wheel which appeared to be covered in some kind of tacky leather substitute.
Charging the battery via the cigarette lighter socket
Hello all, I'm due to pick up my SC 430 tomorrow and would be grateful for some advice on whether my solar Battery charger would work via the cigarette lighter socket. The charger has the relevant plug for this socket, but not an OBD plug. I did see a previous thread that suggested this socket might be isolated when the ignition is off but couldn't see a definitive answer. If anyone knows if this approach would work, and if there are any downsides, please could you let me know. Ma
2011 ct200h horn conundrum
I have just had work on my nonfunctioning horn. The dealer replaced the spiral cable for a lot of money and since I got my car back, I'm pretty much convinced that it may still not be working properly. But I am here to see if any other 2011 owners of this car could confirm for me that the horn works or doesn't work when you press top dead center of the horn, let's say with just your index finger. The reason I asked this is that I went to slam on my horn when someone cut me off and I happened to
LS430 2001: Inputs for a few possible issues
Hi guys I’ve been wondering about something in my LS430, ever since I bought it nearly 7 months ago. When taking a turn, the steering wheel doesn’t seem to return to center smoothly in the last 30 degrees. This worsens when the car is cold, especially in winter when temperatures are low. While the steering wheel centering improves when the car reaches operating temperature, it still doesn’t return to center smoothly all the way. I haven't encountered any problems with the power steerin
Which spark plug?
Hello guys. I'm about to change spark plugs on my UX and I come across 2 different model stating both are for UX250h. Denso FC20HR-Q8 & FC16HR-Q8, their measurements are exactly the same. OEM parts number says FC16HR but all website selling car parts says otherwise, FC20HR are for UX while FC16HR are for NX. Even search with OEM numbers comes up with FC20HR sometimes. May I know if anyone knows which is the correct one? Many Thanksssss
