Does the car have one?

I was messing with the settings during dinner break a few days ago - looking through the manual setting the memory settings for the seat/mirrors etc and getting them to reset back to where they have been set to when you open the door using the remote.

I managed to do this by following the manual but you need to do this while in the car. I managed to lock the car (while it was not running) while I was sitting in it by using the remote key buttons - a few seconds later the alarm came on - I probably set it off but was wondering if I set off a panic alarm using the key fob (some cars have them and I don't know if this one does)

.... took what seemed like ages to figure out how to turn the alarm off though !!

If you managed to lock the car whilst in it then it is likely that the internal motion detector would have triggered....and set off the alarm.

It can be turned off via the satellite switch when the car is stopped. It is what you need to do on a cross-channel ferry or the swing tag on the mirror will set the alarm off. It resets each time so you have to remember to set it each time you want it not to operate.

Setting the memory positions to the remote is an awesome feature. So useful when more than one of you drive the car!
