Rx300 Sunroof Drain Holes?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Does anyone know if the RX300 ( and RX350? ) has sunroof drain holes?

Regards.

I would assume that if a car has a sunroof it will have drain holes. On the LS there are two at the front corners and two at the rear. One of my previous LS's had a flood due to the drain holes being blocked, setting the alarm off at 4 am!

Thank you.

Are there any other obvious drain holes around an RX that should be cleared before the Winter rains?

( And following the Summer rains :( )

Regards.

Open the tailgate and pour some water down the side channel. The water should run behind the rear light trim and come out onto the bumper. That channel may need clearing.

The light clusters have a seal on the back of them that can come loose resulting in water getting into the lights and possibly into the boot. Make sure you don't see signs of water at the bottom of the light cluster.

Similar with the bonnet, open and pour water around the wipers. The water should run out into the engine bay.
