Hello everyone i own a 1993 lexus LS 400 and have the nakamichi sound system. A little while ago the button that ejects the CDs in my trunk broke. It is now jammed in and is lose. I now can't change my CDs i dont really want to pay to go somewhere and get it fixed. Am i doomed to keep listening to the same CDs for all time? Does anyone know how i should go about fixing this myself? Thanks!

I have same problem - it didnt take long to remove the changer from the boot. The eject button has two plastic lugs that operate the mechanism - they do not appear to be very robust as one has snapped off. The button jams or tends to drop in the casing. I am trying to locate a pioneer specialist to see if it worth trying to replace - I am reluctant to change the unit as it works perfectly and any replacement would not fit so neatly. Anybody recommend a specialist?

Good news i repaired the eject button ( superglue + spare plastic ) works perfectly and ejected the cassette first time. Not as hard as I thought it would be. Take care you dont lose the hair spring for the door, I had to glue a strip of plastic to replace the door catch which works well.

The CD Magazine was stuck in the changer of my '98 LS 400. After a strugge, I was able to remove the magazine, but it seems that the changer unit is broken. Does anyone know of any replacement changes for this car that would fit in the above glove box compartment?

Thanks
