Usb Ports Not Recognising Mp3 Player

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Has anyone had a problem with USB's recognising a MP3 player in their NX300h.

Tried connecting my 64GB MP3 player to the USB but nothing happens.. I navigate to Audio >> Sources and can see USB 1 and USB 2 both still greyed out.... Its charging the player (and it plays fine in my sons Alfa (Blue&Me))

I've read previous advice about converting to FAT32 which I've done, but still nothing.

Any suggestions???

Thanks.

If its the same principle as the IS's then theres no issue with the port, its something to do with the the of MP3 player you are plugging into it - I cant remember the exact terms and maybe someone on here will know but the player needs to have a specific type of output to play .... or something like that ...?!

Hi

Sorry i haven't replied before and i suppose you have sorted it by now but using a FAT 32 file is only half the issue: the memory stick must be no bigger than 8GB.

It's a common issue. I fixed by brother's Ford something or other and he had even sent it back to the garage and they couldn't fix it. I got him an 8 GB memory stick and he was a happy bunny - you can buy your own!

Good luck
