Steering Wheel

Hi all

I am still searching for a wood rimmed steering wheel, for my 92 Mk1 LS.

When I first posted this enquiry, someone said, that they beleived the first Mk1's could have this as an option, but only in the States.

I have not been able to find any pictures or infomation regarding this, on any of the Lexus web sites I've found.

As there are a few more members now, I will ask again, can anyone help me out there?

do you mean the steering wheel is about 50% wood, with the rest being leather? if so, there's a LS car for sale on american eBay showing interior pictures with this wheel fitted, poss with an airbag - it may help (at least you'd have a picture to show someone!)

You looking for one as weel stu? same here, i want one too, i still not sure wether to keep her anymore? if it had the rims etc tints and lowered i'd definately want it, spose i need to be patient and save for rimmage.

My mate has a wooden wheel, looks lush on his Jag convertable V12 He won't sell it me though lol

Yeah, I've seen the one on the yank site, so it gives me some hope of finding one!

It's a shame that you can't move the cruise control system, at least then you could get a wheel from Momo or Motolita etc....

P.S Andy, tou should keep hold of your motor mate, for what you would get for it on E-bay, you tell me, what car do you think you'll get that comes close to an LS? :duh:

Yeah your probably right mate, I really want to change the interior to black though, there's lots to do to it so i'm happy. I have to get it lowered I dont like how bouncy it is!
