Hello Lexus owners. I recently purchased a 92 LS400. Couple questions I hope someone can help with. The car has the stock wheels (15" I believe). The tires to me appear to be too skinny and small for the car. Can I go with a larger tire for a better look that the '94 has? OR will I need to buy new wheels and tires? If so - what does anyone recommened.

Also - Interior leather needs reconditioning. No tears, but worn spots and dry in spots with dark lines and wrinkles. I talked to a guy that said he would come to my home and repair and redie for $75 a seat. Does this seem like a good idea. I am in Portland OR, so if anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it. THANKS A LOT!! :D

Hi mate,

Are you in America? Portland? Dollars?

If so, you may want to try our sister site - the US Lexus Owners Club...

Try 'Gliptone' its about £20 for the leather cleaner and conditioner and it works well(i think there is a website if you can't get it from Halfords etc.). I have used it for my old Fiat X1/9 and for the LS and it makes them look much better, sometimes it can take a couple of applications.

Paul
