Weak Front Headlights

Hi guys just found that's my front headlights are weak when car idle,when I start the car lights looks strong and bright but after fiew minutes they get weak and when I rew up engine lights get brighter? Engine Revs go down lights get darker again....Bad Battery or alternator? My Battery looks old and have like snow crystals on top I just finding all attention (money spend things)as I got car two weeks ago. Thanx

Symptoms suggest a bad Battery, alternator is obviously working as there is no charge light on and the lights brighten when the engine is revved and the alternator output increases.

Expect to pay around £80.00 for a decent replacement Battery, Lexus aren't to bad pricewise so consider them as a source.

Check earth's as well, sometimes this causes issues, but as said above, try the Battery, you could always run an multimeter across it and see what Volts it's chucking out

Thanx guys for help I will get Battery eventually (Olso will check earth,but thing Battery is worn),first take hit on wallet with bearings and hubs replacement

I'd say that headlights is not the IS's strong point. I've changed the bulbs to Philips VisionPlus and it got a lot better. I've also tried Philips X-tremeVision, but the life span was too short for my liking.

Hi just update on my headlights,got it new Battery yesterday,and headlights are sweet,very bright as Xenon bulbs should be very happy again thanx for help guys.

Best thing i did with mine was fit a HID 8000k Xenon kit much better
