Lexus Portal - Waste Of Time....

I have just got my IS300h. I registered on the Lexus Portal. Was trying to download the latest (??) map update. The website requires you to add a car. I did that but when I go to download the map update, it says that no vehicle added to my account. Strange as I go to add again the system says the car is already there!!!!

What a waste of time. And the website looks like the work of a 5 year old on a DOS machine!!!!!!

Lexus, what are you doing!!!!!

It has one good feature - you can download the owners and navigation system manuals for your car.

It's not quite useless IMO, I find it useful to send trips from my work computer to the car. Much quicker than inputting it whilst sitting in the car.

It's OK, from my experience, but I haven't used it in 3 years.....Its about as intuitive as the Lexus in car system, meaning it's fine when you get used to it. Most of the competition have got this whole area cracked now.

I used the BMW one all of the time. This one, not at all!!

Just logged in and my last destination used/entered was Jan 2013! It has improved a bit, but my Registration has changed and I cannot update it without, it seems, deleting the whole entry and re-entering. Can't be bovvered!

I never ever managed to get the mobile successfully connected via the cars system to the portal either - it just would never play ball, even the dealer was perplexed.
