I used the lawnmower to sweep the leaves up, petrol Honda rotary ( still Japanese reliability but not a Lexus) cut on highest setting, sucks em up and chops down into small pieces,better than the back breaking lawn rake method.

I've been wanting to give my lawns a final cut since mid October.

Not managed it as the rain here in West Wales has been pretty much incessant.

Your first cut in the Spring will be a doddle Malcolm, whereas mine will be hard work !

Just mowed my lawn, never done that just before Christmas before, but it was looking so long and uncared for.

What a difference it's made to the whole garden!

You leave it far too long Malc. It must have been really high and unmanageable. I normally cut mine by Easter!!
