Ice Dvd Remote Control Problem Rx300

Hi, hope some out there may have an answer for me please. I have a 54 plate RX300 with the in car entertainment pack which is all working ok apart from the remote for dvd playback etc. Because of the location of the player its not easy doing anything while the car is in motion without the remote. I have tried locating one second hand but with little or no luck, so thought about a universal remote control, this needs programming so does anyone know who manufactured the dvd player itself?

I have the original remote p.no -pz462 e8370 02, which has died on me, dont really want to spend silly money on a new one as its not used a huge amount.

Hi Simon and welcome to the LOC, we are a
friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and
put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer
left over.

We recommend you spend a couple of mins
looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later

Hi, did u find one of these? It's the same one for my 07 RX400h and I am looking for one, only place I've seen one is here http://toyotaoriginal.com/genuine-toyota/genuine-toyota-pz462-00371-01-pz462e837002/ but not sure about the site, think I may try a universal remote.
