hi all, my 07 gs450h has a slight issue with the moonroof. It slides open/shut just fine, but for the tilt option, it will open, but when i try to close it, which should be a one touch option, it shuts then opens again. I can eventually shut it, but only if i press the 'down' button several times in short bursts, though this usually means i get the 'moonroof open' message on dash, when i either enter or exit the car.

It was working fine but now this has satrted, its not the biggest problem in the world, but i would like to sort it .It should tilt closed with one touch, and shouldn't open again by itself. Any ideas?

Hi

Sounds like the sunroof needs reseting, have you changed the Battery lately, usually if the Battery is replaced, the sunroof will need reseting. Try this method, it works, but make sure the car is switched on:

Open the sunroof all the way, hold the button for 10 seconds, close the roof, hold for another 10 sec, that should work

Had this on mine recently...

Hold the tilt up button and the roof will tilt up, close, slide open then shut...

It will be reset and work with one touch again
