SatNav POIs ?

Hi There,

Had my IS300h Executive for 6 weeks now. No regrets on the car, the SatNav however is not great however. 

Does anyone know how whilst in a journey to a destination to search for POIs near the destination ? I could do this with my last car (Focus) and it's really handy for finding supermarkets, McDonalds etc near where I am going.

 

Looked everywhere in the menus - can seem to find it ?

I find the POIs handy when looking for a particular pub or restaurant by name when working away, but the whole Satnav is quite poor.   I'm not sure with the Executive system because it's the cut down version of the Premium in my IS.

To be honest I tend to have apps on my phone for the major brands, McDs, Costa, Starbucks etc and use that to find my closest if I need it and then just put the post code into the Lexus.
