You need to bear in mind that if the new IS is based on the LF-S, it will have the coporate grill (from the new GS), and i doubt very much the 20" alloys will make it onto the production car...

But if it looks anything close to that, then I'm buying one!

Part of the Lexus press release on the GS states it is based on the LF-S

The new GS is the first production model to interpret a new range of Lexus design principles. Building on the themes revealed in the LF-S concept car presented at last year's Tokyo Motor Show, the GS has a more sculpted bodywork, a longer wheelbase and shorter front and rear overhangs than its predecessor.

All new Lexus models are going to be built on the same design principles.

I find it hard to believe AutoSpies...

As do I, I had a conversion with Editor of Autospies about posting press release articles when they were under embargo (i.e. 2004 LS430) and the Editor attitude was who cares.

I accept that elements or themes of the LF-S will be on the 2005 IS but as it stands the LF-S is nothing more than a very nice concept car.
