HELP 2004 RX300 immobiliser

2004 Lexus RX300

i was out at the park yesterday and sent the Mrs back to the car for some things. Anyway she got to the car and didn't unset the alarm and then put the key in the door and unlocked the car (she's not used to fobs). Anyway, the alarm went off and she panicked and pressed God knows what buttons on the fob and eventually turned the alarm off.

Half hour later we get to the car to go home and try to start the engine and nothing. Electrics all came on fine etc. Disconnected the Battery for a couple of minutes and the engine started and got me home.

i thought that was the end of it but went back this morning to start it and exact same issue with it not starting. Tried disconnecting Battery again for a couple of minutes but no joy this time.

Any ideas? Does the immobiliser need resetting somehow?
