GS300 2007 Carpet Mats

My 2007 GS300 has beige leather and carpets. The original 4 piece carpet mats set is stored away. I currently use a set of black mats from my previous Toyota Avensis (genuine Toyota) which have lasted for many years but now have holes in on the driver's mat. One possibility is to dye the original beige carpet mats and I'm wondering if anybody has done this and can advise what to use and if it was successful? I have my original beige mats which I use in the summer and a set of good quality rubber ones for the winter, why do you want to dye yours?

Because they beige ones show the dirt and the black ones don't. I don't like rubber.
