Hi

I have a is200 auto 1999 that runs beautifully for its age. Since yesterday I noticed when starting it , it was slightly sluggish and starting struggle a lot more by last night. Today morning I tried starting it and it was turning over very slow and sluggish , after 2 spins it wouldn't start and it stop turning over altogether. The Battery was replaced under 6 months ago, Battery is working fine for sure , which makes me believe maybe its the starter motor as if it was cambelt failure then it would turn over.

Now tried turning it over again and all the lights on dash are on, Battery is fine, had it jumped to another car as well but all I hear when I turn it over is the fuel pump or something near the back by the fuel tank sounding like a small hoover adThere is click sound from the engine sounds like the starter relay,, so im assuming it is the starter motor that needs replacing? Theres plenty fuel in car and the immobiliser is working fine as when key is inserted the immobiliser lights goes off.

any other suggestions?
