Strange noise when start on cold

Hi,

recently I can hear some strange noise in my cabin. It sounds like something got lose under dashboard. When I open windows I couldn't hear it so much. It is very low noise, radio and fans had to be off to hear it. It's noisy for few minutes, only on start on cold. Today when I opened bonnet I could hear like metallic noise from the engine( under cap oil) like a low knocking in metal part. Car running good, no other issues. Lexus IS 220d 2006. Can anyone help please??

It is very difficult to say based on a description.

Ideally, you would need to post a video showing the noise.

If you could do that, it might be possible to figure out what it is.

Whats the milage could it be the cam chain, is it serviced regular? As above says could be anything really.

You're right, I can't hear anything wrong.

Would it be easier to hear from the inside?

I think from inside might be the same:( I might drive for while and see if this getting worse or something. Thank you for your help anyway, was wondering do you know any good mechanic within Dublin area?
