Does newer Map DVDs come with Speed Camera Warnings

Hi all,

I drive a IS250 MM spec, and maps are 07 types. mostly ok but i recently drove newer lexus, audi, jag, ford etc. i realized that their maps have speed camera warnings.

which is quite handy.

so if i get a newer map DVD to upgrade the maps in my car, either myself or at Lexus dealers, will it come with :

speed camera warnings

post code entry etc.

Please share your experiences.

I am afraid not.

The sat nav systems in our cars are rather outdated.  Unfortunately, a newer map will not solve that.

You will neither get speed camera or full post code entry with the system in your car.

I know what you mean though.  I recently borrowed a new IS 200t from the dealer and discovered that the roads around me are actually a 70mph limit, not 60.  That was nice.

so upgrading to newer DVD is a bit of wasteful exercise.
