Hi all

I am new to the forum and looking for some help with my GS 450h year 2007.

My screen washers have stopped working.

Headlight washers do work OK.

When I take the 20 amp washer fuse out and put it back, it works OK until you switch off and re start the car and then nothing.

You can hear a pump working when you press the washers but that is only for the headlight washers which work OK.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply John

The only switch in the drop down compartment I can see is for cleaning the headlight with the washers.

when I press this button the washers work on the headlights ?

Problem Fixed

The supply pipe that connects to a joint by the bonnet hinge on the N/S appeared to be blocked stopping both jets.

I disconnected the pipe at the joint, operated the washes and fluid poured out, reconnected the pipe and bingo it works every time now.

Removing the fuse to get it to work is a bit confusing !

Yes that is the switch I was talking about. You say " You can hear a pump working when you press the washers but that is only for the headlight washers which work" but the headlamp pump should not run when the switch is in the "off" position.
