First time I noticed this the car had been sitting for a while, like two weeks so when it started it I heard a tickning noise - probably from one or more lifters. That was when I was trying to rev it up, to see if the ticks disappeared. And it dind't. Then. But after 15 minutes of driving it was gone. 

Well, this is my first hybrid. I'm just used to that you can rev an engine to max rpm, at any moment. But apparently not. 

Btw: I have looked into the owners manual. 3 cm thick. Doesn't say a word about this...

I got it sorted in the end. What I didn't realise was that the pin the EGR is mounted on with the nut on the end can actually be removed! So I took that out, assembled the EGR and pipe back together o
