Having purchased a new GS300h Exec a couple of months ago I've been looking into a service plan.

The local Lexus dealer gave me a 3 year quote, for 10,000 miles per year, which was the listed serving costs (£275 + £445 +£275) plus a £30 'admin fee'. i.e. £1,025

I was rather expecting some sort of discount - not having to pay extra. The price would avoid any inflation, tyres would be at 'cost' and 10% off consumables.

Has anyone else purchased a Lexus service plan, and did you get a good price?

Tony

some people like service plans because you pay monthly for them , which means that you don't have to suddenly find a large amount of money in one go, if it works out cheeper in the long run is debatable, the first service on my car is listed at £295, i paid £250, so negotiating is possible, i believe Gold members on this site get a discount so that may be worth considering, you could also ring other dealerships although they have supposed to all agreed to charge the same price for servicing.

There shouldnt be an admin fee. Thats bang out of order.

Ive currently got 2 cars on Lexus service plans, im paying the normal prices as Lexus UK have fixed them. Same with non-service plan services as well now.

I wasnt charged an admin fee on either.
