Driver's Window Switches - Should All 4 Light Up?

Title pretty much says it all: on the driver's side switch panel, it seems fairly dark. There's the locking button that's lit and one of the window switches. Should the other 3 window switches in that block light up too and likewise mirror controls? Presumably these are all LEDs so would need to take it somewhere to get done.

On my GS's, the three go out if the button to turn off the electric windows is pressed (to stop kids in the back plying with them), showing only the drivers one will operate. Press the button again and they will all light up. I'd have thought later cars/models would work the same.

Thanks for that TigerFish - will wait till it gets dark and see if the disable windows button has been pressed and reply with result!

Quick hijack of thread if I may..... while we're in that area.

Should there be illumination for the switch panel by the right knee drivers side (U.K.). Petrol flap, boot release etc?

Yes - I wondered that too. I think also the instrument panel lighting dimmer doesn't illuminate either - ironically!
