Whenever I start my car the navigation screen greets me with the navigation menu which l have to exit out of if l don't want to use sat nav.

This wasn't the case with my Is and looks can't find anything in the menus to alter this.

Any ideas very welcome.

Can't be altered. The 12 inch screens have a different set up. It's not like the previous IS. The 2017 IS now has the same system though.

Mine stays on whatever screen it was last on - it does not show Nav on startup.

I can't remember how I got it to do this - I think it might have been setting 'Auto Screen Change' to Off in the general settings. Mine is the old infotainment (no wi-fi or Street View) so yours might not have the same options.
