So is my current, just outside Guildford........Ive never had a bad one but I did reject seeing quite a few when I started questioning the sellers by ebay PM.......that is when there were 'quite a few' around, although that one I linked seemed good.

Thankfully I got mine just before the owner put it on the dreaded eBay!  You get an immediate feeling about cars, and as soon as I saw mine I told myself I would pay the full asking price if need be (which I didn't!)

Lovely colour combo.  Doesn't it just make you slightly concerned though when they say "immaculate condition for age"

M.O.T History seems good, did fail on 2 corroded brake pipes last year and advised on one, looks like the two were done but the advisory one wasn't.

Prime example - I'm in Yorkshire so quite a journey

Hmmm, it wouldn't be the distance that bothered me but going into regions which still practice cannibalism would put me off a lot........

That would be anywhere outside of London, right:winkiss:

You seem to be a tad out of date.......they have stamped out cannibalism completely in 19 of the 32 boroughs which make up london, still practiced after closing time in 4 others.

This 400 looks pretty good, with a good MOT history. Front upper arms replaced, too.

Looks nice but I don't like what they've done under the bonnet.  Second thoughts, they've put the wrong picture in!

That's mine,
I left the engine bay dusty for those who like to have a look at an untouched bay for any leaks, drips & to show I'm not hiding anything,

The last picture is of my Aristo, & how I like my engine bays.

I did write the above in the description, [emoji16]

Ah I've just missed it! Let me know if the sale doesn't go through!

What do people think of this:

Over budget but I could stretch to it... Just wonder if the service history stack up.

It is a lovely car & no advisories at all on the underneath, but, I wonder why it only has 33,683 on it, If I were in the market for one I would definatly go see that one, seems to be the 'Moses Gate' bolton area, looking at that & knowing me I guess it would heading down the M6 later today & back to rainy London

Yes Moses Gate cars seem to have a lot of lexus low mileage cars for sale,i spoke to them the other day about one of there GS430's for sale which only has 48,000 miles and one owner, they also have 2 very low mileage SC430 at £12,900 each.

They don't seem to update their website for cars sold very often though as a couple i've enquired about in the past have long sold.

I guess the question is... How much do people think it is worth?

I really think that up to 2K should be taken off that price, or maybe even a bit more.  I think it's priced high due to the mileage, but it's not that important on these cars, good service history is more so.

I think the facelift LS430s are following a similar trend to the Mark 4  - Low mileage good examples are coming up for sale less often and when they do dealers can command a premium which is the case here - I agree with phil - the original asking price £6950 was about right.

On the flip side a Mark 4 on AT is asking for £5900 reduced from £6500!

I paid just over 8K for my 06 LS with 87,000 miles.  It was a one owner with full Lexus history.  Immaculate condition.  It's the first second hand car I have ever bought where every thing worked as it should.  So if the LS with 33K is as good then I'd say its worth it.  Lovely colour as well.

OK, this is what might happen when folks go 'argyBarging' over these low mileage luxury cars.......mine was in an eBay auction, the bidders were going up around 20 quid a time......based on what the seller said & the 125k mileage I knew what my ceiling price would be, >I also knew I really wanted it<.......as the last minute ticked by one or maybe 2 started uping by (i think) 30 quid a bid...........it got around 730 quid or so and as the auction went into the last 12 secs I put 200Quid above the price it had reached.........Maybe the one in Bolton, which amounts to a top class very low mileage high end luxury car, I would not mess about, I would go there, cash in hand, offering him something bellow what he was asking, but if he said no I would give him the cash there & then

"I really think that up to 2K should be taken off that price, or maybe even a bit more"

Yea......& I think Tesco should take 10p off a pack of fish fingers,.......or even a bit more:yahoo:

I picked it up April 17th this year.  I have done 5000 trouble free miles since then (as expected).  That price puts you in a LS460 but I think I was better off with a really good 430. I'm only averaging about 24MPG, but I see the car as a whole and what it offers for the cost.  Great ride, superb stereo, so comfortable and the build quality is very high.  My Avantime only averages 30MPG and that's just a 2LT.
