Hello, Everyone!

Just purchased a fairly well maintained RX450 SE-L 2010. Took us two years of searching, watching and testing the car market. Always end up coming back to Lexus. We are happy now and hopefully will be for more time in the future while having the Lady in Red :).

My first question is; has anyone tried or knows if it's okay to change the air suspension levels while driving?

Many thanks for your time.

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

Congratulations on finding the Lexus for you, 2 years is a long time but you now hopefully have the exact model specification you wanted.

Sorry no idea about the air suspension switching but I'm sure other members will have the answer, I know I can switch mine on the move but it's not on air.

As always we welcome a few photographs of your new car.

Glad to be part of this, Steve. Here is one photo from today. The reason it took so long is that we live in London and did not really need a vehicle. We just wanted one and the time was now.

I read in the handbook that the levels Normal do Lower are switching automatically between them depending on the speed. Would try to see how it does when going country and chose L as a start.

This is our Lady in Red.

Hi, nice car!

Yes, you can switch on the move.  But, the High setting is not available above about 25mph and if you have it set to High and increase your speed above 25ish, the car will automatically reset itself to Normal.

On my 2013 model, the dash indicator stays at N, even when cruising at speed.  Whether the air suspension actually goes to Low is a mystery to me, I certainly cannot detect a change.

This is my "lady in red".
