Hi everyone, I noticed today when I'd just got in my car that the heated wing mirrors were warm not long after I'd started the car up, but I hadn't switched them on. Is this mormal.

Thanks everyone,

John.

Did you turn your rear window heater on as they are connected?

No, I hadn't turned the rear windscreen on. But after sitting in the car while the engine had been on for about 1 minute they felt warm.

On Mercedes they come on automatically below 9c but in my RC they only come on with the rear screen heater.

I hadn't turned the rear heater on windscreen on, but they felt warm after sitting in the car with the engine on for about 1 minute.

Don't they just heat up if the outside temperature sensor detects that the temperature is less than about 4 deg C or so? They do on mine.

By the time I'd got to work they where cold again. So i think your right they must come on by themselves when the engine is started and it's less than 4 degrees outside. Thanks guys. [emoji1360]
