Wee run yesterday up part of the NC500 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿route towards Ullapool in the RC F

doing the exact same route today,  but in a Artic Lorry 😂 

done this route possibly 200 times in a Lorry  but only 3Xs in the F

Being a professional driver, how does it affect the ownership experience of a car like the RCF?  Do you ever find yourself sick of driving?  I must admit, It’s one of those jobs I’ve always been intrigued by but never been able to try!

I actually retired at the age of 54 2yrs ago, but i love driving so do 1 day (maximum) a week driving for my old company.. just up to ULLAPOOL OR SCRABSTER or malliag, and will find and use any excuse to get out in the RCF 😂

What truck do you drive? Must be a diesel? Is it a V8? I6? How much power? What gearbox? How much were you towing?

Sorry for the barrage of questions, I've always been interested in trucks, but never known any HGV drivers.

Living in Scotland they are lorries I see  on the road regularly, very recognisable. I used to work at a salmon processing site down here in the borders so recognise them well.  How many are in the fleet?  I currently work at a maltings and we have approximately 40 currently, makes you proud to see the brand in the road!

Farne salmon n trout In Duns by any chance 🤷‍♂️ used to deliver there 3 times a week along with dropping off in Eyemouth and Berwick daily, only about 22 units in fleet

It most certainly was, I worked there 6-7 years ago.  Big business, was good to me though I wouldn’t wish to go back….

I think this ISF has travelled the world more than most, 4~5 years in KSA, then 3~4 years in UK and now finally arrived in Dubai for some much-needed tender loving care.

I decided to ship it out of the UK as London was becoming ridiculous with the 20mph speed limits in the city.

Had the RCF for a year now. Apart from getting the road tax letter in the post its been a great experience.
