Ive booked my wife's IS250 in for a major service this weekend at a local garage.

Looking on the garage website for what's included in the service, it states change fuel filter if fitted externally from the tank.

The wife's Lexus is a 2010 with 31k on the clock.

I would be interested to know if the fuel filter is fitted inside the tank or outside and at what age/milage does it require changing.

It is in the fuel tank, on the fuel pump. Lexus/Toyota claims that the filter will last the life of the pump, which they claim should last the life of the vehicle.

+1 to that

Aaaahhhhh 220 you say?.... That'll be the DERV flavour then, totally different beast and yes a filter for the fuel Is available but you won't find a pattern fuel filter for the 250.
