Poor Customer Service From Adrian Flux

Recommended Posts

As per the title. Called them to get a quote on an agreed value policy for my car and the advisor on the other side of the phone was not interested in the slightest. Didn't even want to confirm any details. Just truly shocking....

Not surprised

They're a dog of a company.

The people who love them tend to love them due to low quotes but their customer service has been consistently shocking for the past few years.

I prefer dealing with Chris Knott, much much better

I will give Chris Knott a shout tomorrow. Let's see what they can come up with.

No low quotes I'm my case. They quoted me £1270 for my IS-F.

I used a car insurance comparison site and managed to get fully comprehensive for £640.

Same here.. at least double from the cheapest price on comparison sites ... which I believe was Bell or Admiral last time.

Well I meant that some people get really low quotes from Adrian Flux and tend to love them

But the majority seem to get quotes that are nigh on extortion

I was told £4k for my RX - I mean seriously? Admiral was £650.

Adrian Flux are extremely picky on who they insure

Can't comment on customer service but Adrian flux have there uses.

I remember in my younger days with my heavily modded escort RS2000. No other insurance company would give me the time of day except Adrian flux.

Great company for the youth with modded hot hatches as they will actually insure you for a reasonable price.

Their bike arm - bikesure - like modded bikes as their philosophy is that people who modify really care for and maintain and secure their bikes as they have invested time and money in it.

I received my renewal yesterday £212 - called their number to match any price and sure enough £125 for a year fully comp. Cheaper than all the comparisons. That's for a 180bhp bike with Yoshi exhausts. Bargain when you think how likely a crash is

Hi,

I'm sorry if we were unable to help out. Wherever possibly we do try and be competitive but unfortunately it is not always possible I'm afraid.

Regards,

Dan.

You seem to have missed the point @DAN@ADRIAN FLUX. Your advisor seemed to be more concerned in getting me off the phone then actually going through my details and quotes. This tells me that if you are like this before even getting my custom, then if I do need need to claim your service will be the same if not worse!

I can only speak as I find, I'm insured through Adrian Flux and have been for a number of years. They have always been very good, sorry to hear you've had problems, in my experience very unlike them.

The quote I had from Adrian Flux was very high over £900. For the past 4 years I have been insured with Hastings. This year Hastings did there usual trick of quoting £150 more this year than last even though I could get the same policy with them on one of the comparison sites for only £10 more than last year.

However on the comparison site I found this year Saga were very competitive at £265 with fully comp, personal breakdown cover for any car that I occupied, protected no claims, and only £150 compulsory excess. This for the Lexus GS450H. On cancelling the renewal with Hastings I was offered the same cover as last year for the same £265, but with a £275 excess.

The moral is shop around every year, and do not accept your renewal figure.

John.
