Lexus Teesside 5 Day Event next week

I'm currently being bombarded by Lexus Teesside with details of their 'special' event.

Not of any interest to me as I have no plans or cash to upgrade but if anyone is in the market for a new car then it might be worth a look

They are all at it. I keep getting the same from Lexus Stockport.

Oh, I'd looked on the main Lexus site and there's no mention of a nationwide campaign so I had 'assumed' the deal didn't have national coverage.

Yep everyone is at it at the moment. 

The deals tend to suck as well - they're nothing better than what you could get on any other day - just has a lot of marketing behind it to get people into the showrooms in the first place.

Targeted for the registration change in March. The irony is that with more customers in the showroom, if sales are going well you'll probably end up with a worse deal than if you wait until the last couple of weeks in March...if a dealer is close to a monthly sales target, you can reap the rewards (although you could be lucky at the end of any month).

Ive always found the best time to change is near the end of the quarter. December deals are pretty good but you can get some good deals during the summer when everyone is spending more time on holiday etc and less on cars
