Tyres and MOT today.

Been using my local tyre shop for the past twelve years.  Has done all my tyre and MOT requirements during that time and used to service my Saabs prior to my Lexus ownership.

 

Had four Pirelli Scorpion Verde  235/55 R19 fitted at £132 each and a no advisory MOT at £40.

 

Very good prices showing the benefit of loyalty and trust I believe.

Yes thats not bad at all 

Have to say I usually take my car to Lexus for Tyre fitting and MOT.

£27 for MOT and £10+VAT for tyre fitting - and they got those new fancy machines which means there's no monkey with a crowbar near the wheels!

Its fascinating to watch - they just put the wheel on with the tyre partly on and it does its thing!

This is what always freaks me out. I had one ruin my wheel when I had the Cayenne. Had to go to great lengths with the folk at the  shop to get it sorted (it was a diamond cut rim). They blamed the size (21") but my view was that they accepted the job knowing the size - doh! And this was at an outfit that is all over the country...

Lexus Stockport fitted mine. Great job and not a mark on the alloys.

No I use Lexus Bradford which are part of the RRG group who include Stockport

I presume the equipment would be the same as they recently were refurbished

Did about 50 miles today.  Immediately noticed the car more smooth and quieter.  Very pleased.

 

My tyre shop don't employ monkeys, so I don't have to worry .
