Looking at buying a Lexus IS250 SE-L

Seems OK, bit annoying you can't check DVLA history ( reg blanked!) but you really need to stand in front of this car ( when it's dry) as Lexus paint is not as robust as some and black can show swirls like a b1tch..

best of luck and enjoy the test drive!

Agreed. The paint is soft so marks very easily. They may have polished it with polish full of filler so the first time it's washed it all comes out. But this may not worry some anyway.

You were right about the paint you can see any tiny scratch on it. Didn't really like the car it in the flesh, wheels were corroded a lot of marks on the body.

Dealer had no clue of the car's history or what's been done on it. Wasn't worth my money.

Agreeded on the expectation to find blemishes on a 9-10 year old car but black shows them up all too easily! And the feedback from the seller obviously wasn't very encouraging so good to walk away, if it don't feel right then it prob ain't right!

keep searching as these cars do tend to be well kept by their appreciative owners so you will find a good one.

Note Lexus Alloy wheels of that era are a known weak point and if not already refurbished then you will probably expect to have to do them

Ps Did you note down the reg?

Hi Paul, there are a couple of photos from the rear that show the number plate.
