How important is TVD on RCF

I'd it truly a competitor though?  Purely based upon performance?

Probably not on power, but certainly on the class. + with exception of the race track GS-F power is sufficient to match E63/BMW M5/Audi RS6 on public roads and normal weather conditions. Past 400hp power really becomes just a number on the paper - where will you get it down?

I agree - surely more powerful. Getting all that power down may be another issue. @antspants will be able to tell us all

No problems in the dry, but you have to feed the power from 1st to 3rd in the wet. But my Boxster was the same in 1st and 2nd until I latterly changed tyres to PS4S and then 2nd gear grip was significantly improved in the wet. So will aim to do the same when the current P Zero's are done on this car.

Still over the moon with it and just had resonator deleted so it sounds even better now :)

Absolutely, on outright power the Gsf is way behind, but if you cant put the power to good use its just a number, I think on a track I would lap quicker in an M5 / E63 / RS6 but on a damp b road in Wales I think things would be different.

Yeah that was a bit of exaggeration...it wasn't damp - it was snow and ice (melting in places) on UHP summer tires...  cause - "yeah 'you cannot get perfect whether every time' - so we found absolutely shi***est weather ever in UK just to prove that point" .

It does raise a good point. I read on PH )I think) someone could not drive the m4 all the time because it is too twitchy and is hard work. On a blast it was said to be fun but to get the power down and actually enjoy the car the rcf was the better option. There are so many cars with mega power not but it counts for nothing if you can’t lay it down. On all the rcf vs m4 clips on YouTube you can see how much harder the drivers are working in the m4 due to the torque and it wanting to step out. The rcf by comparison does almost identical times with far less harassment.

I think it's one of the hotlap type videos I notice the RCF is slightly slower on lap time but the driver is doing much less steering input.

Chris Harris would not go out of his way to say a Lexus has an Advantage over a BMW - besides, finding poor weather in UK not difficult. I recommend Wales, in April.

No.. I did not say that. I liked the review very much except of them using BMW M5 "30 Jahre" special edition, like 553hp in standard M5 wasn't enough. As well weather was ridiculously abnormal, not that they deliberately chosen it, but I think they should have waited a month or so for more realistic conditions. Not that I would have changed anything - he didn't say he prefer GS-F over M5.. just that really likes the car and thinks it is worthy alternative and not in any way "lesser" especially when it comes to power.
