Hi , been the owner of a 220d for a couple of months now first problem this weekend after it being snowed in for a week, started ok but then lost revs and stalled started ok but had to keep revs up, ok when warmed up, next two days stalled 5 minutes after start up restarts ok drives lovely gave it a couple of miles run but stalled again when I got home and let it idle a while, could the week covered in snow and ice be the cause of the problem.

Very unlikely to be the snow. These cars are rife with problems as you probably know.

My guess is your EGR valve is clogged up or if your lucky the MAF sensor is dirty and needs a clean .
