Tailgate noise!

It seems that the power tailgate is making a noise when closing.  Not sure if it could be because the cold weather.

 

Can someone let me know if this is normal?

The new ones make a whirring noise when opening and closing.

Mine also makes a whirring noise when closing,  i guessed this was normal,  even when i was at the dealership they didn't comment on it.

Yep is normal. Just the motors. I prefer it tbh  sounds like a transformer

Works well but it's a shame that it is so slow. Also I dislike the fact that you cannot override it manually, unlike with the 2RX and 3RX...

The noise has stopped.  Could be it was  because of the cold weather? I'll check again next year... ha ha
