Refurbish SC430 Wheels

Hi I'm new to this forum so hope I've got this right !

I have just brought a 2001 SC 430 a couple of weeks ago and had the wheels refurbished ( Mine are the later 5 spoke ones not the dustbin lids ( hope that does not upset anyone !)

When I got the car back only the fronts had been resprayed and not the back of the wheels , They did not respray the plastic centre part that is attached with hex screws )it seems that the back of the wheel is more rough cast and I was told that it was standard procedure not to bother with the backs ? I've had wheels refurbished on other cars before and they have always done the whole wheel! Any views on this ?

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

Was it the dealer from where you bought the car that did the wheels or have you had them done yourself?

If the latter I would be questioning what exactly I had paid for given it sounds like half a job?
